Thank you for your interest in employment with Community Integrated Services. Below are brief descriptions of some of our positions.

Enhanced Family Care Provider

As a Home Care Provider, you will have the opportunity to invite an individual into your home. You will assist our individuals in living a fulfilling, enjoyable life. Many of the supports that would be expected are to help with their daily living activities, such as building and keeping a day/evening routine, cooking, nutritional education, housekeeping, communication, appointment management, transportation and so many more life enriching activities! You will also work with the CIS team to build and maintain a high quality of life for our individuals. This can involve assisting with healthcare coordination and working with day program staff to ensure a smooth transition between community-based activity and in-home supports. By working as a team, we can be sure that our residential placements are successful and rewarding for all involved.

Direct Support Professional

Direct Support positions require compassionate individuals who are interested in making a difference in the lives of our adult clients. Whether supporting their health and employment goals or assisting them on their path to the highest level of independence possible, you will play an important role in their day-to-day lives. Direct support is a unique position that can allow some to have the structured, predictable work they prefer while offering others the chance to have a constant stream of new and exciting activities and opportunities. Your unique knowledge, experience, hobbies, and strengths can allow us to match you with a client that will most benefit from what you can offer. Paid trainings and growth opportunities allow CIS to accept applicants new to the field, looking to build a career, and even those looking for a rewarding way to use their spare hours.

Different clients have different needs:

Employment Support:

  • Some of our clients need our support while they work to build their job-related skills and search for and apply for work opportunities. This can also include providing transportation, on-the-job assistance, and/or regular check-ins and support as they grow their independence and advocate for their place in the workforce.

Behavioral Support:

  • Behavioral support requires a level of patience and understanding. CIS offers behavioral training using both the Mandt system and Crisis Prevention Intervention program to provide employees with the knowledge and tools they’ll need to feel confident during potentially tense and escalated situations. These clients need calm support from which they can feel encouraged to experience their emotions while learning healthy ways to express them.

Residential Support:

  • In our Medical Hybrid Model homes we provide round-the-clock support to our individuals. Their needs can require more experienced employees and involve more complex medical care. The employees in these settings work closely with our LPNs and Nursing team to ensure our individuals are receiving quality care.
